Recovery4Health began with a vision on how to make our harm reduction program truly community-first, and since its inception it’s become a safe space that Safer Care truly can’t exist without. After all, there’s no better way to understand the people’s needs, concerns, and desires, than breaking bread with the community itself.
Next week is Overdose Awareness Month, an incredibly important time for obvious reasons. As we transition out of July, we wanted to share with you just a few insights as to why Recovery4Health has grown into home for so many, and highlight how safe spaces are a non-negotiable for any community work. Rest assured, we got consent before sharing any of what you see here (another community non-negotiable!).
Suffice to say, R4H is here to stay. If you’re itching to join, the last slide is the key. We look forward to meeting you there.
R4H meets the last Thursday of every month. Let us know in advance if you’re coming please! RSVP here: http://www.tinyurl.com/r4hgroup
